Bucket elevator must be firmly installed on a solid concrete foundation. The surface of the concrete foundation should be flat and horizontal to ensure that the bucket elevator can meet the vertical requirements after installation.

The bucket elevator with higher height should be connected with the adjacent buildings (such as silo, workshop, etc.) at the proper positions of the middle casing and upper casing to increase its stability. During installation, install the lower parts first, fix the anchor bolts, then install the middle casing, and then install the upper casing. The casing is installed successfully, and the verticality is corrected. The error should be less than 10 mm when using lead straight line to measure the whole height. The upper and lower axes should be parallel and their axis lines should be in the same plane.

When the bucket elevator with lower height is installed, the upper, middle and lower casings can be connected on the ground plane, and then the whole body can be lifted and fixed on the concrete foundation.

After the bucket elevator shell is installed, install the chain and hopper. The U-shaped screw for hopper link is not only the chain joint, but also the fixed part of hopper. The U-nut must be tight and reliable.

After the chain and hopper are installed, they should be properly tensioned. Add appropriate amount of oil and grease to the reducer and bearing seat respectively. The reducer is lubricated with industrial gear oil. Calcium base or calcium base bearing can be used.
