1. Suction pipe and vent should be set at the head and bottom of bucket elevator to ensure that negative pressure and dust overflow will not be formed in the process of discharging and feeding. A well-made conveying equipment, its sealing must be reliable. However, a good sealing in the process of material unloading and feeding will inevitably produce pressure difference, which makes it difficult to feed and discharge. The vent makes the internal pressure and external pressure of bucket elevator basically equal. Proper suction to avoid dust overflow from ventilation, waste and clean environment.
2. The head of the bucket elevator is equipped with an anti reversal device. When the power is suddenly interrupted in the operation of the hoist, the reversal is very dangerous for the bucket elevator. In the process of lifting, one side of the bucket elevator is an upward dustpan full of materials, and the other side is a downward empty one after unloading materials. After power interruption, the bucket elevator must be reversed due to gravity. The material is discharged to the bottom of the bucket elevator with the reverse of the bucket until it is full and stuck in the dustpan.
3. Set anti slip driving wheel. The friction coefficient between the driving pulley and the belt can be effectively improved by riveting or bonding the surface of the driving wheel of the bucket elevator or by bonding the rubber cloth with anti-skid and anti-wear, so as to prevent the belt from slipping and improve the lifting efficiency. If the driving wheel is too smooth, it is necessary to over tension the belt to ensure the normal operation of the hoist, and the belt will be subject to excessive tension and reduce the service life of the belt.
4. Install speed monitoring device. The passive wheel part of bucket elevator is equipped with speed sensor. The sensor generates voltage or current signal, and the maximum and minimum speed can be set through the instrument. When the speed of bucket elevator exceeds this range, after a period of delay, if the speed still exceeds the range, the alarm will be given, and the air switch will be disconnected to effectively protect the normal operation of the bucket elevator.
5. High quality belts are used. It has been proved that choosing high quality belt can not only improve the production efficiency, but also greatly reduce the accident rate of bucket elevator. We must not try our best to make a short-term economy and cause undeserved losses.
6. The adjusting belt device of bucket elevator is after working adjustment. The bolts shall be protected, rust proof and dustproof. There are several inspection windows at the bottom of the bucket elevator, so that the belt adjustment of the bucket elevator can be carried out conveniently, and the working condition of the bucket elevator can be better monitored.
7. Set the baffle plate. A baffle plate is installed at the upper discharging position of the bucket elevator, which can effectively prevent the material from flowing back to the bottom of the elevator. The baffle plate is made of rubber and other materials with wear resistance and certain toughness.
8. Pay attention to the distance between the dustbins should not be too large or too small. According to the actual working capacity and motor power of the bucket elevator, the size of the bucket spacing should be reasonably adjusted.
