CA Photo Tours is an experience unlike any other. This is photography at its best!
Each tour is led by landscape photographer Aaron Keigher and is designed around the perfect dates on the calendar to either give you the opportunity to shoot epic sunrise and sunset photos and/or shoot amazing astrophotographs. In each workshop we focus on grand landscape photography, astrophotography or timelapse photography – whatever your photography dreams are, we will help you realize them!
In addition to shooting at epic locations, each tour includes daily lessons on how to develop your photos. Learn how to process RAW files, develop Milky Way shots using Aaron’s unique techniques, produce amazing star trail photos and develop your golden hours shots. Our photo tours don’t end in the field but help you bring home real keepers!
About Aaron Keigher
From awe inspiring grand landscapes to the stunning creations of man, and from the beauty of nature to the wonders of wildlife, the world around us amazes me. It is this amazement that makes me want to photograph our world. My art photography mainly focuses on landscapes, cityscapes, nature and wildlife.
I believe that my photographs should convey to the viewer, in a natural way, the beauty and wonder of the scene as if he or she was standing there with me. With that in mind, each photograph is carefully selected – both before I shoot it and after I process it – to ensure it properly conveys the emotion of the scene.
Ansel Adams once said, “Some photographers take reality… and impose the domination of their own thought and spirit. Others come before reality more tenderly and a photograph to them is an instrument of love and revelation.” It is that second viewpoint that I strive for (and hopefully obtain) in my work.
My photography travels have taken me to Sedona’s Red Rock Country, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park and the Navajo Nation in Arizona; Acadia National Park on the coast in Maine; Bryce Canyon National Park, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Monument Valley and Zion National Park in Utah; Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado; San Francisco, the Alabama Hills, Big Sur, Death Valley National Park, Joshua Tree National Park Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite National Park in California; Dolly Sods in West Virginia; Washington, DC; Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, Kauai and the Big Island in Hawaii; London, Salisbury and Stonehenge in Great Britain; and the Golan Heights, Negev and Mediterranean coast in Israel.
